We reached the end of our journey through Milan and its magnificent furniture salon. This year, we had the opportunity to visit many impressive design stalls. We also found a bunch of interesting ideas and some of them were already discussed in our previous reports. In our final article, we talk about the cutest coffee table designs displayed at the show. Hope you’ll like it!
#1
Rounded coffee tables will never go out of style. This time, the emphasis was on the interesting choice of materials and other details. We’ll single out three distinctive trends in this fashion: high gloss tables with an elevated edge (photos 1 and 2), tables with a distinctive wooden structure (4) and tables with both distinctive wooden structures and edges (3).

#2
Coffee tables of various shapes with the upper edge of two integrated panels are very popular this year.

#3
Coffee tables that also serve as mini storage units were a marvelous surprise. Some models were covered with a cloth, which was such a treat for the devoted texture addicts like us.

#4
Printed table tops are one of the biggest trends this year. We mentioned them in one of our previous posts, yet, this time, we will divide them into two categories:
– coffee tables with the upper and lower level of different shapes

– a combination of two chairs that can be used together or separately.
#5
Here are the tables of a specific geometry that fits into the other furniture elements.
#6
The most diverse materials we saw at the Salon were implemented in this furniture element.

#7
We must admit that our attention was drawn by the luxury tables of the irresistible glow.

#8
There is no doubt that the wood is the main inspiration at the Salon. These trunks are carved into the interesting geometric shapes.
#9
And now, something completely different. These tables make the perfect match to the ambiance of the space in which they are set. They are mostly made of wood and practically flow through space.

Bonus
Although this time we didn’t get a chance to display our design at the Salone del Mobile like we did last year, we do have a coffee table of our own to be proud of.

We strongly believe this beauty is a perfect fit to the ones shown above. What do you think?
